Fresh Gulf Shrimp
With the influx of farm raised and foreign shrimp, consumers can be easily fooled. Tiger Shrimp are retailers and restaurants #1 substitute for local shrimp.
Shrimp sizes are classified by the amount per
pound. Example: 21-25 count means there are 21-25 shrimp in a pound of product.
We sell 2 sizes of Fresh Gulf Shrimp, 16-20 count and 21-25 count. Gulf shrimp are pink, white or brown, depending on where they are caught. They all are similar in taste. Key West Pinks like other products are seasonal. These are Florida's premium shrimp.
As of November 12, 2008, we are out of fresh shrimp. If you order shrimp, please be advised this will be IQF (individually quick frozen) Shrimp.
